SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

Didn't fit the mold for the "chip and dip day". Purchased a 99 cent bag of licorice at the Git'N Go on the way home from open house. I filled in at the last minute to host one of our open houses. Just as I got there, it started a nice light snow. Not the best open house weater, but real estate in the Pleasant Hill, Des Moines, Altoona area is picking up. EAST HIGH FUND RAISER

My purchase Sat. Feb. 2 was $5.00 pancake breakfast at the Elks club. It was sponsored by a group of parents raising money for the after prom party at East High. It was yummy! Chatted with good people and started the day out right.

Friday February 1st

My purchase today really wasn't MY purchase. We were treated to lunch by Bill Walsh from Great Western Bank. We went to a really suburb resturant in Pleasant Hill - Bella Italia. If you haven't tried Toni's cooking - you must go. My favorite is the lasagna. Our host's favorite is bar-b-que pizza! Whatever you have, I'm willing to bet you'll love it! ( This is not the picture ofthe lasagnal at Bella Italia, my meal looked much better than this photo.)

What I bought today...A Rowenta steam presser for $1 at the Hope Bargain Center in Pleasant Hill. Took it home and tried it on a new shirt of Bill's. Took those packing creases right out and is ready to wear!
